Textbook Return/Exchange Policy

The register receipt/packing list is required for all returns and exchanges.

Return Period: The return must occur within 14 calendar days from the beginning of the semester, and the first 7 calendar days of Summer Session.

Late starting classes: For classes that start 14 calendar days or more after the start of the semester, textbooks can be returned within 14 (Fabll/Spring Semester) or 7 (Summer) calendar days of the start of the course. You will need your receipt/packing list and a copy of your class schedule showing enrollment for the late start class.

Shrink wrapped books: Books with a protective seal that have been opened will be accepted at the discretion of the campus store for a fee of $10 during the return period above. Other required materials are also at the discretion of the campus store, but no fee is applied. After the return period books/materials will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items: New textbooks, study guides and workbooks that have been written in or have pages removed cannot be returned! Activated access codes cannot be returned.

Defective Books: Textbooks that are deemed to be defective will be refunded or replaced at the discretion of the campus store. Used books are sold "As Is."

Refund by Check: A check will be issued within 2 weeks from date of return for those refunds originally paid for by a personal check or if the campus store does not sufficient cash on hand.

Online Purchase Returns: Items purchased from this website may be returned for a refund at our campus store with the shipment's receipt (packing list). Items may also be shipped back to the campus store, postage prepaid with the original receipt. The return period and shrink wrap requirements above apply. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Please notify us within 3 business days from receipt of your order if there were any items damaged during shipment or if there are any discrepancies. If you chose in-store pickup for your online order, the campus store will hold your order until the 10th day of the fall/spring semester (5th day of the summer semester) or 10 business days from the order date, whichever is later. If you paid with financial aid, your order is refunded the 10th day of the fall/spring semester (5th day of the summer semester).
